International Music Festival 7

On Saturday 3rd December, the Parish celebrated its annual ‘International Music Festival for the seventh time’. While not many unparticipating parishioners attended the event, one who did attend, said ‘People don’t know what they missed; this was a fantastic afternoon’s entertainment!’

The African, Indian and Filipino communities all provided moving and powerful performances, all interspersed with amazing solos from Janet Hirst, Shane Thomas and Samantha Bagaporo. Finally, the young people of the parish provided the vibrant finale. It was an uplifting occasion but one that was, at times also full of emotion. Thank you to all concerned.
