Our Lady and St.Patrick's Children's Liturgy

All are welcome

Next meetup on 17th February

The 3s to 11s group is for all children (aged 3-11 or thereabouts) who meet on the third Sunday of every month. The group is led by three adults: Jane, Miriam and Bev.
The aim of the group is for the children to access the Liturgy of the Word through a 'child friendlier' version of the Gospel reading and through the form of pictures, either pre made or the children's own.
The children go to their group at the beginning of Mass and return after the homily, when they proceed with the offertory gifts and their pictures to Fr. Phil. They return to sit with their families after the offertory procession. The pictures they have done are then displayed on the website. Children can collect their pictures during the following weeks - just see Jane.

The group would like to share with you some of their recent work.

Today we hear John the Baptist preparing people for the coming of Jesus. The people were very excited. John told them that they had to change their lives for the better and share what they had with others.
